Your salary is also much higher than regular technical support agents.

High-voltage Electrician

This is considered to be one of the most dangerous electrician jobs abroad. After all, you will be dealing with high-voltage equipment. If you are not careful with your work, your job will get your killed. For you to be considered for the position, you need to acquire a bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronic engineering. You also need to have at least 3 years of working experience, especially one that is related to the position that is being offered to you. Those who have electrician jobs abroad related to technical support can also apply for this work, but they may need to have at least 4 years’ experience.

Fire Alarm Technicians (FATs)

Unlike most of the electrician jobs abroad, becoming a FAT does not require you to finish a four-year degree in electronics. You can just present your high school or vocational diploma, and you can be considered for the position. You also need to speak good English or whatever language is being required from you. You must also have thorough knowledge on fire alarms and fire detection systems. After all, this is going to your main responsibility.

Besides installation, though, you will have to inspect, assess, and maintain the systems that are being used in buildings, hospitals, schools, and other offices.

Electrical Draftsman

Another of the common electrician jobs abroad is becoming an electrical draftsman. You will have to coordinate with civil engineers, architects, and building designers for planning and creating the most effective electrical system for an establishment.

So you can obtain this job, you need to be a graduate of bachelor in electrical or electronic engineering. You may also have an experience in the field for around 3 to 5 years. Moreover, you should have extensive knowledge in electrical software such as Micro Station and AUTO CAD. They can be very useful in producing electric plans in 3D or more realistic form.
