There are also certain countries that do not allow their residents to find work in Iraq. Your visa application to the country may also be denied.

There is also your safety to think of. It still remains to be unpredictable. There are still ammunition and missile fire, and you can find yourself in dangerous situations. There are still mortars and land mines. If you are not too careful, you can definitely get yourself killed in the country or injured seriously. Nice article, but I’ve read about a 1,000 such articles on the same topic, yet none can link me to an actual company/corporation that is currently and ACTIVELY hiring electricians. Is the economy so bad world-wide, that even overseas jobs in Iraq have dried up?
If anyone out there can supply with a link to a valid job hiring site, please let me know. I am an electrician , licensed in the state of Florida. I am a graduate of the IBEW apprenticeship program, with 5 years of experience in mainly commercial work, with some industrial experience.
